Yes! Professional vocal coach Zelda kicks off every event with a fun group warm-up and shares expert tips to help you get your singing voice working beautifully.

The Music

  • At Dive Bar Choir we focus on massive, recognizable hits ranging from current chart-toppers to legendary, evergreen vintage anthems.

  • No, each month's song choice is a mystery revealed at the actual performance when we’re all ready to start learning and singing the song together. 

  • Don't worry—we stick to widely recognized, massive hits rather than niche genres. Even if the track isn't on your personal playlist, you will love learning our fun, custom vocal arrangement.

  • That is part of the magic. This is much more than a standard karaoke night or a simple singalong. You will experience the thrill of building a 3-part harmony from scratch with a vibrant community. The energy of the crowd makes every song an absolute blast, regardless of the genre.

Logistics & Atmosphere

  • Currently, yes. Because our shows are held in local bars, attendees must be 21 or older with a valid ID. However, we love the idea of sharing this experience with younger singers and are actively looking into all-ages venues for future events!  Reach out if you have any recommendations.

  • Bring a playful attitude, a love for singing, and a friend or two! This is way beyond standard karaoke—it is a massive group experience where you will laugh, blend your voices, and walk away with a whole new crowd of singing friends.

  • Drinking is entirely optional, and all our venue partners offer plenty of non-alcoholic options to quench your thirst and lubricate your singing voice.

  • Space is highly limited at our venues, so we strongly recommend purchasing your presale tickets online before they sell out, especially for groups. Venue space is strictly limited and we cannot guarantee entry at the door.

  • Absolutely! We love hosting groups, and our events are the perfect celebration for your squad. Come ready to sing, laugh, and capture plenty of unforgettable selfie moments together.

  • Currently, we host our pop-up choir bi-monthly at various local bars and lounges across the East Nashville area. 

  • Absolutely! We love building confidence, cohesion, and a sense of community for corporate teams. We can host your crew at one of our partner venues or bring the experience directly to your office or choice of venue. Reach out with your event details today to get started!

  • Yes. Every event is filmed and photographed for our social media and website. By purchasing a ticket and entering the venue, you consent to being recorded.

  • Yes, absolutely! Many people come solo. You will instantly feel part of the crowd, join in the fun, and make plenty of new singing friends.

  • Yes, absolutely. Music and singing are incredibly powerful and therapeutic for individuals living with dementia. You will both love the experience, and there is nothing better than watching your loved one light up and glow while singing with a supportive community.
